Randy SnyderSenior Minister

Since November of 2004, Randy Snyder has served as senior minister of CrossView Christian Church.  Randy has served in the same position in churches in Atlanta, Dallas-Ft Worth, and in Columbus.  He is a graduate of Cincinnati Christian University with a B.A. degree and graduate work in Christian Ministries.

He served as a trustee at CCU from 1990-2010. He was co-chair of the Pastor's Committee for the Billy Graham Crusade in Columbus, and vice-president of the North American Christian Convention in 2005.

Since 1983, his weekly messages have aired on radio stations in Columbus, Cincinnati, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Atlanta, and now weekdays on WFCJ-FM 93.7 in Dayton. Since June of 2010 the same program is aired twice a day on the Sirius/XM satellite radio networks all over the US, Canada, and Mexico. The program, CrossHope, is heard on the Family Talk Channel 131.

Randy and his wife Annie (also a graduate of CCU) both grew up in Indiana and have three grown children, Elizabeth, Jonathan, and Benjamin, and three grandchildren.




Greg CowgerMinister of Operations

Greg has served at CrossView since 1994. First as a volunteer then in 1999 he began working part-time as Director of Worship, while still working for a major electronics retailer. In 2005 he retired from that company, after 26 years of service, and began full-time ministry work as CrossView’s Director of Worship and Communication. In 2007 Greg moved into the role of Executive Minister, utilizing his many years of retail management. In July of 2012 Greg moved into his current position focusing on communication, facility, financial and human resource teams.

Greg attended ITT Technical Institute after completing high school in Wapakoneta, Ohio and married his high school sweetheart, Julie. They have two grown sons, Christopher and Corey, a daughter-in-law, Leigh Ann, and a grandson, Jaxon. Greg’s hobbies include music, photography, electronics and gardening. Greg has recorded albums with two different quartets while living in Lexington, Kentucky and Waynesville, Ohio.


Kevan Duke staff

Kevan Duke Minister of Discipleship

Kevan joined CrossView's staff in 2007 as the Minister to Students. In 2012 he began the transition to his current position on staff as 'Minister of Discipleship'. He and his wife Lindsay both grew up in Xenia and began dating in high school; they both graduated from Johnson University and now have 2 daughters, Kherington and Colbie. In addition to his love for studying scripture and first century Judaism, Kevan is a singer/songwriter and worship leader. He has a passion for seeing the prominence of the family unit restored and enjoys teaching, writing, watching sports, and drinking sweet tea.

Kristi Gilmore - Minister of Worship Arts

Kristi joined the CrossView team in September of 2013 as the Minister of Worship Arts. Growing up in a ministry family, Kristi had many opportunities to learn how to serve in several different capacities and ultimately knew that her biggest passion was to help people find their way back to God through personal relationships and Worship Ministry.

Kristi graduated from Johnson University with a degree in Media Arts. She and her husband, Caleb, started dating in college and love to find ways to serve together. They have a very spoiled Miniature Dachshund named Bean and love being outdoors. Kristi loves giving music lessons and learning new music whenever possible. Although they are from the South, Caleb and Kristi are excited to bring a little ‘Southern Hospitality’ and good sweet tea to the North.



Cheryl Brackemyre – Minister to Children

Cheryl Brackemyre has grown up at CrossView Christian Church. She has worked on the CrossView staff since 1995. A 1993 graduate of Cincinnati Christian University with a degree in Christian Education and Journalism, she has used her education in teaching and equipping teachers and families in the church. Her passion is to teach children how Jesus wants them to live and help them in beginning their walk with Him.  She lives with her husband, Tony, and her three sons, Austin, Andrew, and Max, who fill her life with laughter.



Diane CanbyDirector of Preschool Outreach

Growing up in rural southern Indiana, Diane was blessed to have Christian parents, a very large close-knit family, a conservative community, and the fellowship of faithful friends. That foundation shaped her life and confirmed her desire to walk each day with the Lord. Diane studied at the Cincinnati Christian University and has more than 30 hours of early childhood education. Diane's experience is vast - she has managed a day care in her home, taught preschool classes at the Bellbrook/Sugarcreek Park District, and worked on the staff of Ridgeville Christian School. Diane joined CrossView's staff in 2002.  Diane and her husband, Steve, have six wonderful children and enjoy walking, sports, pets, and family. Diane also enjoys cooking and baking, and music (especially the piano). Her favorite scripture is, ”and Jesus wept,” a scripture that reminds her that Jesus knows and understands our every need. Her goal in life is to love more dearly every day, to help children along life’s way, and to smile at the close of every day in thanks to an awesome Savior.

Milton Chamblee – Minister of Communication Arts

Milt joined the CrossView team in October of 2014. He is passionate about connecting art and technology with the local church, as well as looking for ways to share stories of God’s love and creativity. Having grown up in south Alabama (War Eagle!), he too shares Kevan and Kristi’s affinity for sweet tea. Milt graduated from Johnson University in 2012 with a degree in Media Communications. He and his wife Amber have two boys, Cooper & Reid.

Parker joined the CrossView team in June 2014 to help students cultivate a deep, personal relationship with Jesus. Parker is passionate about playing guitar, music, skiing, and being outdoors. Growing up in Cincinnati, Parker has a huge heart for the Reds, Bengals, Skyline Chili, Goetta and anything Cincinnati related. Parker is a recent graduate of Cincinnati Christian University with a bachelor's degree in biblical studies with an emphasis on youth and family ministry.



Tom and Teresa Elkins -- Living Link Missionaries Serving in Mexico

Tom and Teresa Elkins have been part of the Missions Ministry Team at CrossView since 1992. Tom, the son of missionaries, was born and grew up in the Philippines. He and Teresa attended Intermountain Bible College and Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado. Teresa graduated with a degree in Nursing and Tom with a BA in Biblical Studies and Missions in 1979. They served with Navajo Christian Churches in Arizona for 12 years and then joined Ameritribes in 1993 to work in Mexico on a church planting team. In 2009 Ameritribes merged with Pioneers International and there they continue to serve among two unreached people groups. Tom and Teresa have enjoyed traveling, cooking, biking, and walking together for the past 32 years. They have two grown children, Lucas and Kara.




Jan Penewit -- Office Administrator

Jan Penewit started as Office Administrator February 2005 but has been attending CrossView Christian Church since 1990. She has two grown sons, Jeremy and Russell, a daughter-in-law Erica, and granddaughter, Noelle. Jan is married to Bob who has two grown children, Heather and Zack, and a granddaughter, Cloey. Originally from Michigan, Jan received her B.S. in Business with a math minor from Central Michigan University. Her work history includes 20 years in the Insurance Industry at various positions and locations but now enjoys using her time and office skills serving the Lord. She also enjoys scrapbooking, jogging, reading and riding her bike on the bike path. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6.




Hope Combs -- Office Assistant

Hope is a native of the Waynesville community and has family roots that go back three generations at CrossView. She began serving in the office in 2008 and is often the first voice a person hears when they call the Church Office. Hope and her husband, Brian, have three daughters: Chelsea, Christie, and Charity.
