We know it can be intimidating when you enter an environment you’ve never been before. So, we’ve addressed some of the most common questions people have when considering whether or not to try our worship services out.
Why do I need to check in? When you arrive you will be asked to check in at the information desk located outside of the student ministry auditorium. If it is your first time, we ask that you fill out an information card. This information is simply used for follow up and will never be subject to third party distribution. We ask students to check in as a safety precaution so that we are always aware of who is in our facility at any given time. For a comedic take on why we have check in, check out the video ->
What should I wear? Most people wear what they would wear to school. Sandals, shorts, and t shirts are extremely common. Every once in a while, you’ll see somebody decked out in their “Sunday best” – but we believe the heart behind why you come is much more important that what you have on when you do.
What should I bring? Yourself. Another good thing to bring is your bible (if you have one). No matter what you bring, we’ll be happy to see you.
What actually happens in the worship service? We listen to teachings, sing songs together, and remember Jesus’ gift of salvation. We also provide opportunities for students to give back to God with their abilities and resources while interspersing a few comedic elements here and there.
What is the student ministry at CrossView all about? We don’t play a lot of games or go on a lot of fancy trips; we simply do our best to love God well and to serve other people. We genuinely want to become a gathering of people who truly want to honor God with the way we live out our existence.
