Serve City

Serve City is a 4 day urban mission trip for high school students in Cincinnati. This trip provides a fun and challenging experience as they learn about the needs that come with urban poverty. Partnering with BLOC Ministries and City Gospel Mission the students work together on various service projects and receive training for missional work. Contact Parker Sims for more information.

Mazatlan, Mexico

Since 1997, Back2Back Ministries has served children’s homes and impoverished communities, by partnering with individuals, schools, churches, civic groups, and businesses to create a bridge between people in need and people with resources. This is accomplished through partnerships and short-term mission trips, in which individuals and groups work alongside staff members who serve at each of the ministry locations. Back2Back invests in the future of each child by meeting their spiritual, physical, emotional, educational and social needs through a unique 5-Point Child Development Plan so that they can become self-sustaining individuals who give back to their community. For more information on CrossView’s next trip to Mazatlan, email Warren Earp.

Tom and Teresa Elkins

Tom and Teresa, with Pioneers International, shepherd a team that serves the Nahuatl people in Mexico. The team has been residing in the village since 2009, and have since begun many community development programs including the translation of scripture into their native language. The purpose of these projects is to build trust in the community, develop relationships, and bring down resistance to the gospel.  They were recently granted permission to tell God’s story in a public forum, and will begin in July of this year. To receive their daily prayer focus or newsletter please e-mail Tom & Teresa.
