Diane CanbyDirector of Preschool Ministries
and Director of Tuesday School
diane.canby@crossviewchristian.org

Growing up in rural southern Indiana, I was blessed to have Christian parents, a very large close knit family, a conservative community, and the fellowship of faithful friends. These blessings shaped my life and confirmed my desire to walk each day with the Lord. I studied at the Cincinnati Christian University and have 30 plus hours of early childhood education. I ran a day care in my home for over 16 years, taught preschool classes at the Bellbrook/Sugarcreek Park District, and worked at Ridgeville Christian School. I have been on staff at CrossView since the summer of 2002 and love being a part of the body here. I am married to Steve Canby and together we have six wonderful children (5 boys and 1 girl). Steve and I enjoy walking, sports, pets, and FAMILY. We love serving together and giving back to others. I also enjoy cooking and baking, and music (especially the piano). My favorite scripture is ”and Jesus wept.” This scripture reminds me that Jesus knows our heart and understands our every need. My goal in life is to love more dearly every day, to help children along life’s way, and to smile at the close of every day in thanks to an awesome Savior.
